n March 15th starting at 12, CA Sretenje held a press conference in the Great Hall of the Municipality of Pozega on the occasion of the beginning of the project "It is possible to implement the financing of the associations through open competition" which is being implemented in partnership with associations Forum Juris from Novi Sad and the People’s Parliament from Leskovac.
The project deals with the introduction of the so-called program funding for associations in the municipality of Pozega. By programming model, the associations will be financed on the basis of publicly announced tender, with pre-established criteria, and detailed reporting after the implementation of activities.

At a press conference saying:

The project is being implemented in cooperation with the municipality of Pozega and with financial support of USAID and the Institute for Sustainable Communities.

On March 14, 2010 in the rooms of Sretenje it was held the first meeting of the team which will work on adopting papers which will enable to move from the previous linear funding of citizen associations to project funding in the municipality of Pozega.

The team consists of two representatives of Municipal Council (Paun Petrovic and Zoran Jotić) and three representatives from civic associations (Gordana Francuski, Forum Iuris, Novi Sad, Ivan Grujic, People’s Parliament Leskovac and Zdenka Kovacevic, CA Sretenje.

The meeting was made regarding the implementation of planning activities of the project "It is possible to implement the financing of the associations through open competition" with support of the USAID and the Institute for Sustainable Communities ISC.

CA Sretenje implemented the round table within the project "It is my right and I want to know" on February 23rd in the great hall of the Municipality of Pozega (Liberty Square no. 9),with the support of the Open Society Fund Serbia " The round table was dedicated to the topic of "Transparency of the municipal budget.

The speakers on the round table were:

* Misa Brkic, Politika;
* Nemanja Nenadic, Transparency Serbia;
* Dragan Vujadinović, Mayor of Kosjeric;

At the round table were invited representatives from the municipality administration Arilje, Pozega and Kosjeric.
